"My experience as Co-Chair of ICoTA Europe has been really interesting. A lot happens behind the scenes that isn't visible, so it was interesting to have that deeper involvement. I hope to bring enthusiasm to the role of Chair and bring more collective ownership of our initiatives across the committee.
"Outside of my company's training requirements, ICoTA is the main thing I do as part of my professional development. It gives me the opportunity to learn what others are up to and see what new technologies and techniques are coming into the industry. ICoTA is also fantastic for networking. You meet loads of people who at one time or another will be able to help you - from operational advice to technologies that can solve your issues."
Mark added:
“It’s great to be asked to be Co-Chair and I look forward to supporting Darren and the wider ICoTA committee in the year ahead. There’s a real buzz around the intervention community at the moment and we aim to capitalise on that, enhancing safety, knowledge sharing, productivity and technological development.”
