Chris said “This year, ICoTA celebrates 30 years as the leading well intervention association for the energy industry. I’m very much looking forward to supporting the entire global organisation to achieve its mission of continuing to enhance communication, gather technical expertise and promote safety, training, competency and accepted practices within the well intervention related industries. As the market grows and needs change, we are also expanding our vision to other markets that need interventions, including Geothermal, CCUS and Hydrogen.”
Steve said “One of our goals is to better integrate all of the ICoTA Chapters and to enrich our global Board to be more inclusive of the industry with more Operator engagement as well as individuals representative of the industry as a whole.
I’m personally enthusiastic about helping our other Chapters grow, including the China Chapter with their first conference in several years. On the back of interest in the Asia Pac region, we are delighted to be supporting them by helping to introduce a new Chapter there this year. At the heart of our industry are the Young Professionals. They are the future and we will continue to support our next generation by providing opportunities for them to learn by sharing technical knowledge and providing peer-to-peer opportunities.”
